چکیده
The process of urbanization has caused a huge growth in cities all over the world. This development makes organization and infrastructure an individual city increasingly important. In this context, idea smart is growing projects are beginning to appear. As amount data with connected technologies, such rely on as key resource. However, current research does not provide overview these which constructs involved data-driven projects. Therefore, begins building taxonomy through establishment common language among researchers new field eleven dimensions. Additionally, it develops concrete conceptualization for practitioners initial guidance cities.

Big data, smart cities and city planning
I define big data with respect to its size but pay particular attention to the fact that the data I am referring to is urban data, that is, data for cities that are invariably tagged to space and time. I argue that this sort of data are largely being streamed from sensors, and this represents a sea change in the kinds of data that we have about what happens where and when in cities. I describe ...

Cities have an ever increasing wealth of sensing capabilities, recently including also Internet of Things (IoT) systems. However, to fully exploit such sensing capabilities with the aim of offering effective citysensing-driven applications still presents certain obstacles. Indeed, at present, the main limitation in this respect consists of the vast majority of data sources being served on a “be...
